Hi, I’m Jodi, and like many of your clients, my journey to health and happiness hasn’t been easy. Growing up, I was the kid who struggled with weight.
I was relentlessly teased by my classmates.
I had to shop in the plus sized clothes section of stores.
I was embarrassed to eat cake at parties for fear of what people would think.
I loved ballet but wasn’t allowed to advance to pointe class with my peers because the dance director feared my weight would cause harm to my ankles and feet.
At only 10 years old, I knew I needed to be on a diet. I wanted to dance. And I was embarrassed of how I looked. I didn’t know how to diet. I didn’t know why I was fat. My parents didn’t know how to help me.
Even as a child, I was searching for a solution—a diet, a plan, something to help me feel better in my own body. I would skip meals, run through the neighborhood without any coaching, and eat salads with fat free dressings in hopes that I would miraculously become skinny.

There were those fleeting moments that I lost that weight and I allowed myself to be celebrated for my temporary accomplishment, but the weight always returned.
It wasn’t until college that things began to shift. I found myself drawn to the sciences, fascinated by the way our bodies work, but I didn’t fully realize what that curiosity meant for my future. A few chance conversations, an interest in human metabolism, and a wise guidance counselor led me down the path to becoming a Registered Dietitian.

That’s when everything clicked. I could finally understand what had felt so out of reach all those years—how food truly affects our bodies.
But my journey wasn’t just about losing weight—it was about learning to nourish myself in a healthy, sustainable way. I dove into my studies, learning everything I could about nutrition, metabolism, and health. It was an empowering experience, not only for myself but for the clients I knew I would one day help.
Now, with over 17 years of experience as a dietitian, I’ve seen firsthand how transformative nutrition can be. I’ve worked in some of the most critical healthcare settings—ICUs, diabetes management, heart disease care—and I’ve helped patients take control of their health.
Nothing brings me more joy than seeing someone thrive, whether it’s watching a client come off their diabetes medications, seeing improved lab results, or hearing the
excitement in their voice when they hit a health goal… I literally can’t contain myself!
But what I want your clients to know most of all is this: I’ve been there. I understand the struggles, the frustrations, and the confusion that can come with trying to get healthy. I know how it feels to wonder if there’s a better way, to want something sustainable, not just another crash diet.
And that’s why I do what I do.
When your clients work with me, it’s not just about numbers on a scale—it’s about their overall health, their well-being, and finding joy in the process.
Together, we’ll create a plan that fits your clients' lives and helps them regain control of their health, whether it’s managing a chronic illness, improving their nutrition, or simply feeling better in their own skin. I’m here to guide your clients and support them every step of the way.
Let’s build a healthier future for your clients, together.
